Auricular/Ear Prostheses
An auricular prosthesis is a custom-made ear designed to replace a missing or underdeveloped ear due to trauma, surgery, congenital conditions such as microtia. Along with restoring a natural appearance the prosthesis will also support glasses, hearing devices and in some cases channel sound to the ear canal.
The prosthesis is designed to stay securely in place with medical grade adhesive or implant retention or combination of both systems.
